Material                    : Sound absorber casing is manufactured from 1 mm galvanized sheet, its baffles are manufactured from 0,5 mm galvanized sheet, as for. Corner pieces are coated with galvanize after being manufactured from DKP sheet, as for.

Technical Properties : Sound absorbers are used for providing the absorbtion of the sound occuring in the air conditioning and ventilation systems. The thickness of the baffles used in the sound absorber are 100 mm, 200 mm and the filling material inside it are 2 pieces of glass wool which have thickness of 50 mm and density of 50 kg/m3 and have one side coated with fiberglass. The glass wool which is used, has the property of nonflammable being suitable to DIN 4102 standard A2 class and is resistant to corrosion and moisture. Glasswool’s surface that is in contact with air being coated with fiberglass prevents particles fly from the surface in the high air velocities up to 20 m/s. Also, sound absorbers are manufactured as flanged and the flanges with mastic are 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm, 35 mm; M8 bolts and nuts are used in 20 and 25 mm flanges, M10 bolts and nuts are used in 30 and 35 mm flanges.

Installation                :Sound absorbers are fixed to duct with bolts and nuts from the flanges in the inlet and outlet.

Model                     :   *BSAB-R : Standard round sound absorber

                                    *BSAB-R&P : Round sound absorber that has extra sound absorbing pod in the middle.

Material                  :  The external surface of the BSAB-R model sound absorber is manufactured from galvanized sheet, the internal surface that is exposed to air flow is manufactured from perforated galvanized sheet and the filling material that is used between the two surfaces is manufactured from glass wool with one side coated by fiberglass which has 50 mm thickness, 50 kg/m3 density and the property of being non-combustible according to DIN 4102 standard A2 class. On the otherhand, in the BSAB--R&P model sound absorber, the external surface of the pod that is presented as extra in the middle is manufactured from perforated galvanized sheet and the internal surface of the pod is manufactured from glass wool with one side coated by fiberglass according to DIN 4102 standard A2 class.

Technical Properties:  Round sound absorbers are used to prevent the sound transmission that occurs via air ducts between the places which are connected to each other with air ducts in air conditioning and ventilation systems. Besides, in the round sound absorbers that has pod in the middle, extra pressure drop is provided due to the conic structure of its one side. Therefore, round sound absorbers with pod in the middle are used in the places where high sound drop is required. The usage areas are places such as parlours, offices, hospital rooms, music rooms and consulting rooms.

Fixing Types            :  In model without pod:

                                    *Fixing to round duct.

                                    *Fixing to round branch ducts.

                                     In model with pod:

                                     *Fixing to inlets and outlets of axial fans.

                                     *Fixing to inlets of radial fans.

                                     *Fixing to round duct.

Coating Types           : *Electrostatic powder coating (Standard colors are RAL 9010 and RAL 9016)

                                     *Other colors are provided with enamel paint in every RAL code depending on demand.
